Humanising health care in Society 5
We are excited to announce a special edition call for papers focusing on the imperative to humanise healthcare within the context of Society 5.0, with a particular emphasis on the application of Ubuntu philosophy. In an era where technological advancements, particularly artificial intelligence, are reshaping the landscape of healthcare delivery, it is paramount to ensure that the essence of compassionate care and human connection remains at the forefront.
Background:
Society 5.0 represents a vision of a human-centered society that harnesses the power of technological innovations, such as artificial intelligence, digital platforms, and robotics, to enhance various aspects of life, including healthcare. Ubuntu’s philosophy, deeply rooted in African traditions, offers a compelling framework for fostering compassion, solidarity, and inclusivity in healthcare delivery.
