Special Issue Published in the South African Journal of Communication Disorders (SAJCD)
We are delighted to announce the publication of the latest Special Collection in the South African Journal of Communication Disorders (SAJCD).
Prof. Katijah Khoza-Shangase from the University of the Witwatersrand’s Speech Pathology and Audiology Departments, supported by the National Institute for the Humanities and Social Sciences (NIHSS), guest co-edited a Special Collection for SAJCD with her colleagues Professors Nomfundo Moroe and Joanne Neille.
The 22-manuscript collection’s focus is on The impact of COVID-19 on Speech-Language and Hearing Professions in low-and-middle-income countries: Challenges and Opportunities Explored. Challenges, innovative solutions, as well as future research directions are beautifully delivered in this collection. Congratulations to all the contributors!
As part of the #Wits100 Centenary Celebrations, a rolling publication style will be adopted in releasing the Special Collection, where articles will be published weekly commencing the week of 18 July 2022. Read them at sajcd.org.za and engage with the authors.
