How To Become a Reviewer
To become a reviewer, please submit your CV via email to submissions@phcfm.org before 30 September 2022.
Peer-review support
The Editorial Team of PHCFM also recognizes that there are relatively few experienced researchers in the African region in family medicine and primary health care and therefore we also have a responsibility to grow novice researchers and peer reviewers. Our editorial board have, therefore, agreed to mentor new peer reviewers.
Peer-review Policy
The journal has a double-blinded peer review process. Manuscripts are initially examined by editorial staff and are sent by the Editor-in-Chief to two expert independent reviewers, either directly or by a Section Editor. Read our full peer review process.
As a peer reviewer, your expertise makes sure that the scientific record is accurate, comprehensive, and trustworthy.
You are an integral part of getting great science into the world. We are here to support you in your work and recognise the vital role of peer review in preserving quality and integrity in scholarly research.
