We are excited to announce that the next intake for the Moodle Educator Certification (MEC) training is scheduled for 17 August 2020. The Moodle Educator Certification  program, presented by AOSIS e-learning, is a comprehensive teaching and learning curriculum designed to help you develop transferable knowledge and skills to be effective educators in today’s growing digital workplace. The MEC recognises and certifies mastery in building effective teaching and learning activities with Moodle and is available through Moodle Partners, who have been trained and certified by Moodle HQ to facilitate the modules.

These four teaching approaches use the Relational Model for Teaching and Learning© (RMTL).

MEC Facilitator coaching per week: 0.5-hour scheduled and 0.5-hour unscheduled webinar sessions. (per group)

Basic Requirements:

• An understanding of basic course setup
• More than 6 months of experience in using Moodle
• Prior experience with Moodle 3.3 and above

Designed for teachers, instructors, and trainers, this program uses leading research on curriculum development and digital competency standards to provide educators with transferable knowledge and skills that impact teaching and learning practice. The MEC program provides educators with a place to develop and demonstrate general digital competencies using the Moodle platform.
