CALL FOR PAPERS: The Southern African Journal of HIV Medicine
The Editorial Board of the The Southern African Journal of HIV Medicine would like to invite all authors to submit their latest research manuscripts towards this open access scholarly journal.
Southern African Journal of HIV Medicine is a medical journal focused on HIV and/or AIDS treatment, prevention and related topics relevant to clinical and public health practice. The purpose of the journal is to disseminate original research results and to support high-level learning related to HIV Medicine. It publishes original research articles, editorials, case reports/case series, reviews of state-of-the-art clinical practice, and correspondence.
The author guidelines include information about the types of articles received for publication and preparing a manuscript for submission.
Submissions can be submitted online at sajhivmed.org.za. Please refer to the submissions procedure when submitting your original manuscripts.
The journals official affiliation is The Southern African HIV Clinicians Society (SAHCS), a membership organisation with more than 10 000 health care workers with an interest in HIV. The SAHCS’s mission is to promote evidence-based, quality HIV healthcare in Southern Africa.
The journal has a double-blinded peer review process. Manuscripts are initially examined by editorial staff and are sent by the Editor-in-Chief to two expert independent reviewers, either directly or by a Section Editor. Read our full peer review process.
The journal publishes at least one issue each year. Articles are published online when ready for publication and then printed in an end-of-year compilation. Additional issues may be published for special events (e.g. conferences) and when special themes are addressed.
