South African Family Practice Journal (SAFPJ) appoints assistant editors
The South African Family Practice Journal recently expanded its editorial board by appointing four assistant editors. It is with great excitement that we would like to welcome the following members to the board:

ABOUT: ‘I like to hike and I am proud to say that I have 3 lovely children.’ - Dr. Ramprakash Kaswa – Walter Sisulu University, South Africa; and, Mthatha Regional Hospital, Department of Health, Eastern Cape
ABOUT: ‘I love Reading and travelling.’ - Dr. Shane Murphy – University of Witwatersrand, South Africa; and, Johannesburg Health District, Gauteng Department of Health, South Africa
ABOUT: ‘I am Passionate about health system sciences, and making meaningful scientific and social change through lean systems, evidence-based practice and collaboration.’ - Dr. Arun Nair – University of Free State, South Africa
ABOUT: ‘I am working at Robert Mangaliso Sobukwe Hospital (Former Kimberley Hospital) in Kimberley and affiliated to the University of the Free State. I love commercial planes and aviation, reading, playing Badminton, and drawing/painting. Prior to my specialisation in Family Medicine, I spent time in Public Health (where my interest in research began), Clinical Microbiology and Radiation oncology. I enjoy teaching and training as well.’
