The African Journal of Laboratory Medicine rewarded with first Journal Impact Factor (JIF)
The African Journal of Laboratory Medicine (AJLM) has recently received its first JIF from Clarivate Analytics, publisher of the Web of Science Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI). The JIF is a marker of the impact of a journal, and, by extension, the articles published in it. With a JIF of 1,1, and with over 250 published articles, more than 1,700 Crossref citations, and over 1,4 million downloads, AJLM has undoubtedly made a significant impact in the field of laboratory medicine.
