About the AOSIS published book ‘Innovations in online teaching and learning: Case studies of teacher educators from South Africa during the COVID-19 era’
This book explores the integration of digital technologies in teacher education during the Covid-19 era. How can digital technologies be utilised to advance the acquisition of conceptual knowledge in languages, science, mathematics, technology, and other subjects? What theories inform these approaches? This book reports the case studies from teacher educators on how they navigated the new terrain of digital technologies to circumvent traditional face-to-face teaching approaches that were no longer possible during the Covid-19 era. It provides a springboard resource for researchers and practitioners on successfully integrating digital technologies in and outside the classroom post-Covid-19 era.
