It is with great pride that we want to announce that the Transformation in Higher Education Open Access Journal was accepted into the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET) list of accredited journals. This scholarly journal will feature on the DHET SA list from 1 January 2021.

Transformation in Higher Education is an international, transdisciplinary journal that seeks original contributions that reflect upon and theorise transformation in higher education in all its different nuances. It aims to disseminate high impact, evidence-based research across disciplines in higher education that could ultimately support high-level learning, teaching and research. The editorial board includes members worldwide, from the United States of America, New Zealand, United Kingdom, Europe, and Africa. The Editor-in-Chief, Professor Petro du Preez, from North-West University is an Associate Professor in Curriculum Studies, Research Methodology, and Philosophy; a sub-project leader in the Edu-HRight unit; and the coordinator of research and development in the Faculty of Education Sciences. Her research focuses on curriculum studies, particularly in higher education contexts, and human rights education for diverse religious environments.
