We would like to welcome Professor Ilse Botha (University of Johannesburg) as the new Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Economic and Financial Sciences (JEF). She takes over from Professor Gideon Els, who was with us since the journal joined our ranks at AOSIS in 2017. We wish Prof Botha a successful term at the helm of this exciting publication, and we look forward to seeing her taking it to new heights.

We would also like to thank Prof Els for his hard work over the past four years. We value the effort and dedication in making a valuable contribution to the Economic and Financial Sciences’ research fields.
