Call for Papers: Southern African Journal of HIV Medicine
AOSIS invites all prospective authors to submit their latest original research towards the Southern African Journal of HIV Medicine.
Journal Focus and Scope:
The Southern African Journal of HIV Medicine (SAJHIVMED) is a medical journal focused on HIV and/or AIDS treatment, prevention and related topics relevant to clinical and public health practice. The purpose of the journal is to disseminate original research results and to support high-level learning related to HIV Medicine.
As the official journal for the Southern African HIV Clinicians Society (SAHCS), SAJHIVMED publishes original research articles, editorials, case reports/case series, reviews of state-of-the-art clinical practice, and correspondence.
The journal has an impact factor of 2.75 (based on Web of Science), and a CiteScore of 2.1 (based on SCOPUS, Elsevier).
DHET Accreditation and Indexing Services:
The journal is DHET accredited and is included in leading indexing services which include the PubMed Central, SCOPUS, and Clarivate Analytics Web of Science Core Collection, Science Citation Index Expanded, SCIE (previously known as ISI).
Journal Impact:
The journal has an impact factor of 2.75 (based on Web of Science), and a CiteScore of 2.1 (based on SCOPUS, Elsevier).
Peer review:
The journal has a double-blinded peer review process. Manuscripts are initially examined by editorial staff and are sent by the Editor-in-Chief to two expert independent reviewers, either directly or by a Section Editor. Read our full peer review process.
