The fifth edition of the Journal of Transformation in Higher Education invites contributions from a variety of scholars to critically engage with the topic: (Trans)forming higher education and post-schooling in research, teaching-learning and community engagement.

This topic questions the ‘trans’ in ‘transformation’ concerning discourses on and around mobility, transdisciplinarity, the posthuman predicament, advanced capitalism, the post-academic university, decolonisation, anti-theory and the ‘multi’-versity (the multiple tasks and demands of academics). These local and global discourses should be reflected in higher-education and post-schooling research, teaching–learning or community engagement.
