The Journal of Local Government Research and Innovation (JOLGRI) focuses on improving the system of local governance and to proffer local government as the major stakeholder for development in South Africa and the globe. The journal is supported by the University of Fort Hare, the South African Local Government Association (SALGA) and the Forum for Africans in Academia. Until further notice, no Article Processing Charges (APC) will be charged to publish in the journal. The following types of articles are welcomed: Book Reviews, Case Studies, Opinion Papers, Original Research Articles and Review Articles.
