This book focuses on Learning and Teaching in Rehabilitation Sciences in an African context. The foundational elements of the ten chapters are the local South African context and evidence-informed education practice to develop curricula that are contextually and globally relevant.
We explore the impact of rehabilitation sciences education on students, clients, communities, and the professions.
The book was a collaboration within the Department of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences, comprising the Divisions of Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, and Speech, Language and Hearing Therapy at The Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Stellenbosch University.
