AOSIS is proud to announce the launch of the African Journal of Climate Studies (AJOCS). Partnering with Stellenbosch University, this open access scholarly journal looks to promote evidence-based research findings studies on the shifts in temperature and weather patterns, especially on the African Continent.
Focus and Scope
AJOCS is an open access scholarly journal focusing on theoretically or pragmatically relevant original academic studies, reviews and syntheses, or academic opinions that include African climate as a pivotal component, attempting to advance transdisciplinary approaches. Read more…
The journal has a double-blinded peer review process. Manuscripts are initially examined by editorial staff and are sent by the Editor-in-Chief to two expert independent reviewers, either directly or by a Section Editor. Read our full peer review process.
How to submit your manuscript
To contribute your latest research findings towards this publication, please visit climatestudies.org and submit your manuscripts online. Please refer to the submission procedure when submitting your original manuscripts. The submission guidelines include information about the types of articles received for publication and preparing a manuscript for submission.

Article processing charges (APC’s)
The journal has a sponsorship agreement with the publisher for the purpose of funding qualifying manuscripts’ APC fees. All responsibility for publication is taken by the publisher, so authors do not need to pay an article-processing charge.
