New Scholarly Journal added to the AOSIS Stable
AOSIS is proud to announce that, in collaboration with the International Association of Applied Neuroscience, the Journal of Applied Neurosciences has joined as the latest addition to our growing portfolio of open access scholarly journals.
Headed by Professor Dirk J. Geldenhuys from the Department of Industrial and Organisational Psychology, University of South Africa, the journal boasts an experienced editorial board with international representation.
With neuroscience and biology as the underpinning of all human behaviour, an increasing need developed for the translation of neuroscience research in other fields of study and practice. This journal serves as a vehicle for the scientific translation and application of neuroscience and other biological underpinnings of human behaviour, in the contexts of psychotherapy, psychology and clinical practice, business, education, spirituality and religion, and sport. Thus, it allows for transdisciplinary integration of enhancing the understanding of human behaviour in different contexts. This journal seeks to serve its readership with the most topical content in the translation of neuroscience for practice and academic pursuits. The Journal of Applied Neurosciences is dedicated to the advancement of applied neurosciences through the publication of scholarly work, case study reports, conceptual papers, and reviews.
This open access scholarly journal allows for articles in five focus areas of applied neurosciences:
- Neuropsychotherapy
- Organisational Neuroscience
- Applied neuroscience in education
- Applied neuroscience in spirituality and religion
- Applied neuroscience in sport
The journal publishes one volume each year. Articles are published online when ready for publication and then printed in an end-of-year compilation. Additional collections may be published for special events (e.g. conferences) and when special themes are addressed.
