Journal of Local Government Research and Innovation accepted into DOAJ
We are excited to announce that the journal of Local Government Research and Innovation (JOLGRI) was recently accepted into the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ). See the DOAJ webpage here: https://bit.ly/3qiDsw7
This is a huge milestone for the journal and we would like to congratulate the Editor-in-Chief, Prof. O.I. Nzewi, and all the members of the editorial board on this achievement. The DOAJ indexes and promotes quality, peer-reviewed open access journals, and being indexed on this platform amplifies the reputation and prominence of JOLGRI in the research community.
There are numerous benefits inherent in having a journal indexed in the DOAJ, for both the journal and authors, and for JOLGRI to be included in the world’s most important open access service puts a clear stamp on the quality of the research work being published and contributing to this scholarly field.
JOLGRI seeks to publish and foster knowledge development in educational, epistemological and practice advancements within local government that will result in alternative models practised in local government service delivery and governance.
Authors are invited to take hold of the opportunity to submit their research work towards this open access scholarly journal, as all articles that are published in the journal this year can be submitted to the DHET next year for subsidy.
Submissions can be submitted online at jolgri.org. Please refer to the submissions procedure when submitting your original manuscripts. The author guidelines include information about the types of articles received for publication and preparing a manuscript for submission. Other relevant information about the journal’s policies and the reviewing process can be found under the about section.
