Editor-in-Chief of SAJHRM receives SABPP CEO Award
The Department of Human Resource Management (HRM) in the Faculty of Economic and Management Sciences at the University of Pretoria recently celebrated the academic achievements of its students at a prize-giving ceremony held in Pretoria. The annual awards recognise the dedication and hard work of students in various undergraduate and postgraduate programs offered in the Department of HRM.
In a remarkable moment, Xolani Mawande, CEO of the South African Board for Personnel Practice (SABPP), presented the SABPP CEO Recognition Award for Extraordinary Service and Outstanding Contribution to the HR Profession to Prof Karel Stanz of the Department of HRM and, and Editor-in-Chief of the SA journal of Human Resource Management (SAJHRM). Prof Stanz was honoured for his incredible contribution to the HR profession, and the award was given at the SABPP Annual General Meeting held on the same day at Future Africa.
The prize-giving ceremony was a remarkable display of excellence and dedication to the HR field by faculty members and students alike. Congratulations to all the honourees for their outstanding achievements and for making a significant contribution to the HR profession.
This is a significant accomplishment, and we take great pride in the recognition bestowed upon Prof Karel Stanz.
