VACANCIES: Section Editors for the Journal of Public Health in Africa
The open-access scholarly journal, Journal of Public Health in Africa (JPHIA), owned by Africa CDC and published by AOSIS, is looking for section academic editors to evaluate and review manuscripts for the journal. We invite interested candidates to apply for the following sections in the journal:
- Antimicrobial Resistance
- Biostatistics, Bioinformatics, and Data Science
- Diagnostic and Laboratory Medicine
- Epidemiological Studies
- Global Health Security (Pandemic Preparedness, Prevention, and Response)
- Health Care and Policy (including Governance and Leadership)
- Infectious and Emerging Diseases
- Maternal, Newborn, Child Health, and Nutrition
- Mental Health and Injuries
- Microbiology, Immunology, Virology, and Vaccinology
- Non-Communicable Diseases
- Pharmacology and Regulatory Sciences
- Planetary and Environmental Health (including One Health)
- Recent Trends in Traditional Medicine, Health Research, and Development
- Sexual and Reproductive Rights and Health
- Socio-Behavioural and Qualitative Research
- Other areas related to public health in Africa
To apply, fill in the online form and include somewhere in your application for which section you are applying. The deadline for applications is 25 February 2025 at 11:00 West African Time/12:00 Central African Time/13:00 East Africa Time/ 14:00 Mauritius, Reunion, and Seychelles Time.
