HTS Teologiese Studies/Theological Studies (HTS) invites proposals for Special Collections to be published in 2027. We welcome submissions from scholars across the globe, representing diverse theological traditions, perspectives, and areas of expertise.

As an internationally recognised, multidisciplinary journal, HTS provides a dynamic platform for scholarly engagement, fostering collaboration among theologians, religious scholars, and researchers from a broad range of academic disciplines. The journal actively encourages multidisciplinary, interdisciplinary, and transdisciplinary research that contributes to contemporary theological scholarship and addresses issues of local, regional, and global significance.

Proposed Special Collections may explore emerging themes, critical debates, innovative research directions, or topics of particular relevance to theology, religion, society, and related fields. Through these collections, HTS seeks to advance meaningful academic dialogue and promote impactful research within the international theological arena.
