Designed for teachers, instructors, and trainers, this program uses leading research on curriculum development and digital competency standards to provide educators with transferable knowledge and skills that impact teaching and learning practice.

The MEC program is for teachers, instructors, and trainers who:
  • seek certification and recognition for their mastery of teaching and learning goals and of the Moodle platform;
  • want to develop their knowledge of essential educational digital competencies required of today’s educators; and
  • wish to learn how to use Moodle in new and innovative ways.

Programme overview:
  • Develop your skills with up to twenty-two modules focused on education-related digital competency pathways.

  • Get feedback and coaching advice from our Facilitators to assist you in developing, revising and completing your learning activities.

Foundation Level module learning outcomes:
  1. Universal Design:  Respond to learners’ diverse needs and ensure accessibility to learning resources and activities in Moodle.
