AOSIS comments on the Research Outputs Policy, 2015
The Minister of Higher Education and Training published an update of the Policy for Measurement of Research Outputs of Public Higher Education Institutions (2003), now called the Research Outputs Policy, 2015 on 11 March 2015. The purpose of the new policy update is to renew and regulate the system whereby the government, through its Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET) subsidises the research output of public higher education institutions in South Africa.

What ‘open source’ really means
